Volunteer Van Drivers
Help pick-up outpatients receiving chemotherapy, dialysis, radiation therapy, and other outpatient appointments. To fill this role, you must have a current drivers license and automobile insurance and pass a physical exam.
Information Desk Volunteer
Greet patients and visitors, provide information and escort to clinic locations.
Parking Lot Shuttle Drivers
Help outpatients in our large parking areas with access to the medical center. To fill this role, you must meet the same requirements as van drivers.
Volunteer Office Assistant
Help different medical or administrative offices in the medical center. Duties include filing, answering phones, and greeting and directing patients. Hours:
Patient Reminder/Discharge Follow-up Caller
Help make phone calls to remind patients about their scheduled appointments and discharge follow-up.
Red Coat Ambassador Volunteers
Greet Veterans and guide them through our facilities.
Patient Representative Volunteer
Assist and support nursing staff on inpatient units providing amenities and special attention to patients as needed.
Sort donated magazines and books, and take the cart to designated waiting areas and patient rooms.
Assist staff in serving geriatric patients meals in a restaurant-style setting.
Visit a specific patient who has minimal visitors on a regular basis to discuss interests, small table games, light conversation.
Warehouse/Mail Room Assistant
Deliver mail and supplies to medical center departments.
